The Foundation of Precision—The Standard Components
Standard Mold Components
What are Standard Components?
Standard mold components are universal, standardized parts within a mold, such as ejector pins, sleeves, guide pillars/bushings, screws, and springs. Like the "joints" of a precision instrument, they may seem minor, but they directly determine the smooth operation and lifespan of the mold.
Why It Matters
■ Interchangeability & Maintenance:
Using international standard components (such as DME, HASCO, MISUMI) means that replacements can be easily sourced anywhere in the world, significantly reducing long-term maintenance costs and downtime.
■ Operational Precision:
High-quality guiding components ensure tens of thousands of mold opening and closing cycles without misalignment, preventing flash on the product.
Common Types
■ Guiding System: Guide pillars and bushings ensure precise mold closing and alignment
■ Ejection System: Ejector pins and flat pins are responsible for pushing the cooled product out of the mold.
■ Cooling Components: Water nozzle and plugs control the thermal balance of the mold.
Our Standard
Wanlong insists on using high-strength, wear-resistant branded standard parts. We understand that the failure of even a single screw can halt an entire production line.
