Should I choose standard Injection Molding or In-Mold Compression? What's the difference?
Standard injection suits most regular products. However, for PC components (e.g., automotive sunroofs), ultra-thin walls, or optical parts, we recommend In-Mold Compression. This process compresses the melt during mold closing, significantly reducing internal stress and birefringence while minimizing warpage—results difficult to achieve with standard injection.
Do you offer lightweighting solutions?
Yes. We excel in Chemical Foaming and Carbon Fiber Injection processes. Through microcellular foaming technology, we can reduce part weight by 20%-50% without compromising structural integrity, making it an ideal solution for automotive and aerospace lightweighting needs.
What is the typical lead time for mold manufacturing?
Lead time depends on complexity. Generally, T1 (first trial) delivery is 4-6 weeks for medium-sized molds and 7-9 weeks for large molds. For urgent projects, we can expedite via internal resource allocation. Every project is assigned a dedicated Project Manager who provides detailed Gantt charts and weekly reports to ensure the timeline is strictly met.
